Specialist care home builder Castleoak Construction Healthcare has adopted a new corporate identity – “Castleoak Care Partnerships”. Chairman Mel Knight told Caring Times the change was intended to reinforce the message that Castleoak was much more than a construction company. “With this rebranding we are pinning our colours to the mast of the social care sector,” said Mr Knight. “We also hope it will convey our commitment to working as partners with our private, voluntary and public sector clients during all phases of project development.” Castleoak Care Partnerships may be a new name but Mr Knight company has a well-established profile in the care sector. The company has designed and constructed purpose built accommodation for more than 4,500 beds on more than 80 sites throughout the UK by working on projects in the £2m to £8m range. Turnover for 2005/6 is projected to exceed £25m.
