A growing homecare sector is crucial to social care

Laing and Buisson’s 2009 Annual homecare conference in November reinforced the growing importance of the sector within the overall social care framework in the UK.

Despite the current economic slump and uncertainties of the impact long term structural public sector deficits may have on the sector there was a buoyant mood at the conference. Indeed deal making was on the lips of some of the leaders of larger homecare providers present.
