Leicester-based specialist provider Cheer Health has secured a flexible refinance package from the Royal Bank of Scotland’ (RBS) to support the company’s growth and acquisition plans for the future. The £3.72m package allows for the reconstruction and redevelopment of a neurological unit in Leicester as well as financing the growth of a general nursing home in Bedhampton. The business is expected to grow by another 30 per cent with further homes being built in and around Leicester. Cheer Health’s neurological unit in Leicester accommodates patients with brain damage, multiple sclerosis and neurological diseases. Director Reg Bullock said the funding would allow the company to develop its care provision further along the avenue of ventilated care and develop a portfolio of specialist neurological units and care homes.
