Abacus awarded NHS contract

Abacus Healthcare Services has won several new contracts following a successful bid for the NHS supplies national contract for servicing. With a head office in Crewe, Abacus is a full service, nation-wide healthcare equipment manufacturer offering installation, maintenance and training for a wide range of patient care and bathing products. In just eight months since qualifying for the NHS contract, Abacus says it has earned individual NHS Trust contracts totalling £70,000 within its allocated Central and Southwest NHS regional divisions. The work involves servicing a wide variety of hoists for raising and lowering patients, as well as specialist baths, beds and bed pan washing equipment. Experience with a full range of powered and manual hospital equipment means that Abacus is also contracted to service accessories such as electric and pneumatic drives, bath transport systems and thermostatic controls.
