Healthcare recruiter Advantage Healthcare has acquired Quantica Healthcare in a £4.5m deal which will see Advantage expand its portfolio of services, which currently include the provision of doctors, nurses, specialist nurses, allied healthcare professionals, carers, and support workers to also include qualified social workers. Advantage operations director Keith Nurcombe said that, subject to the formal approval of shareholders at Quantica’s EGM, the acquisition would be completed in early November.” “As a company, we have been looking for additional expansion opportunities,” said Mr Nurcombe. “The purchase of Quantica Healthcare is a natural fit, as their field of expertise complements our own. The addition of specialist experience in the qualified social work sector will allow us to provide both existing and new clients with a more comprehensive service.”
