Air freshener operator takes over clinical waste disposal

Signature Aromas, UK distributor of natural oil air freshener systems, has purchased Sleek Services, a company that removes clinical waste from nursing homes across the West Midlands. Signature Aromas sales director Paul Chappell said his company supplied a number of nursing homes in the region with air treatment products and several customers had enquired as to the whereabouts of a reliable and reasonably priced clinical waste collection provider. “It soon became apparent that Signature could offer this additional service to our existing customers without any disruption to their normal service,” said Mr Chappell. “As we make calls for the maintenance of the Signature Aromas Vaparoma and Suparoma units, it makes sense to collect any yellow ‘D’ grade waste at the same time then dispose of it in an environmentally friendly way. “We will now be disposing of sharps, needles and medicines by incineration to comply withlegislation, again keeping with our company ethos of all things natural.
