AMS completes management buyout of 61-bed Gifford House in Basildon

Harrow based care operator AMS Care Ltd has purchased Gifford House, a new 61-bed nursing home in Basildon. The acquisition sees Manish Chotai, AMS’s managing director, take ownership of the new development. Funding for the management buyout of AMS Care was supplied through the commercial healthcare team at the St Alban’s office of the NatWest bank. With all bedrooms being single ensuite, Gifford House caters for elderly people who require nursing care, some of whom may have mental health needs. The range of care on offer varies from short to long stay and doctors and trained nurses from local surgeries monitor and organise daily care.
