Anchor offers virtual home tours

Anchor Retirement Housing has released an online video featuring staff and residents at a sheltered scheme to help older people decide on their future housing needs. Prospective tenants and the professionals advising them can now take a two-minute virtual tour of a scheme when they visit Anchor¹s website. Tenants¹ services director Paul Johnson said research showed that millions of older people owned PCs and hundreds of thousands more surfed the net at colleges and libraries. “We are committed to providing older people with all the information they require when deciding on their future housing,” Mr Johnson said. “The features we have had built in to our website are designed to give prospective tenants, their relatives and housing professionals a real flavour of what life is like at an Anchor scheme.” In addition to the virtual tour, offers a fully interactive property search function which enables prospective tenants to view details and photos of more than 650 developments.
