Southern provider Colten Care has appointed Anne Smith as operations director. With more than 12 years’ experience in the care sector, Mrs Smith joins Colten Care from her position at BUPA where she began as operations manager and moved on to head of service development. Responsibilities included development of BUPA’s award winning customer service initiative, care planning system and the home manager and operations manager induction programmes. “Having worked within the care sector for a number of years I was aware of Colten Care’s excellent reputation in the industry,” said Mrs Smith. “I enjoy working for a smaller group with a more personal approach and it provides me with a great opportunity to widen my experience. “I am totally committed to enhancing care and service at Colten Care, enabling staff and increasing their job satisfaction whilst ensuring commercial success. â&e
