Are hip protectors helpful for older people with dementia?

Clare Leonard reports on a small benchmarking study of 20 people with dementia in the care of a physiotherapy team, where those thought to be at risk of falling, following assessment, were provided with hip protectors and followed up at monthly intervals over a period of six months
