Arjo absorbs Parker brand

Specialist assisted bathing supplier Arjo has absorbed all Parker-branded assisted bathing systems into its portfolio. The Parker name will be replaced on all products by the Arjo brand, with one exception, the award winning Parker Bath, which will be known as The Parker Bath from Arjo. General manager of marketing and key accounts Stephen Maley said the exercise was a refocusing of operations following parent company Getinge¹s acquisition of Parker Bath last year. Mr Maley said this now provided an unrivalled level of choice, customer support and after sales service across all product groups with one point of contact for all bathing and patient handling requirements. “The move has been welcomed by customers who benefit not only from access to an extensive product range but also from the specialist advice and after sales service that we provide through our nationwide team of 30 sales executives and 94 Arjo trained service engineers,” Mr Maley said. “Service levels are what matters in today¹s competitive mar
