Ashley appoints strategic director

Martyn Yeats has been appointed as strategic director of registered care for Ashley Homes, the care and support services division of the Shaftesbury Housing Group. Mr Yeats took up his position on July 1 and will be part of Ashley Homes senior management team. Mr Yeats was formerly commissioning manager for adult services for West Sussex County Council and has experience in social care, initially as a social worker and latterly, as a senior manager. With an annual turnover of £22 million, Ashley Homes manages more than 35 residential care homes for more than 750 people with physical and/or learning disabilities and older people in need of care and support.
