Audley about to open another assisted living scheme

Assisted living provider Audley is about to commission its Derbyshire-based development, St Elphin’s Park, consisting of 128 retirement properties in Darley Dale near Matlock. The project involves the restoration of a former school and Victorian health spa into luxury one and two bedroom retirement apartments within the main building as well as several two bedroom cottages in the 14-acre grounds. The development includes the demolition of an extension to the main house and the construction of several sympathetically designed cottages, where Audley is working closely with the main contractor, Bagley Construction. David Wild, sales and marketing director for Audley, said St Elphin’s would offer residents the best of both worlds. “Residents at the site will benefit from the picturesque vistas of the dales and the sweeping countryside of the Peak District National Park on their doorstep,” said Mr Wild. “This, coupled with one of the area’s most imposing buildings in which to to reside, will provide a
