Another Great Night To Remember
We are pleased to announce that the 15th National Care Awards will once again be held at the Hilton London Metropole Hotel, on the 29th November 2013. The application process begins in June.
More than 600 people attended the National Care Awards Gala Presentation Night to celebrate the very best people in the long term care sector as part of the longest established and most respected care awards. Held at the end of November and sponsored by Christie + Co, the glittering evening took place at Europe’s biggest hotel complex, the Hilton London Metropole Hotel. The Champagne Reception was sponsored by Barchester Healthcare to celebrate their 20th Birthday – congratulations to them – and provided a great opportunity for guests to meet and mix before sitting down to a delicious three course meal. Ladies’ gifts were provided courtesy of SCA Hygiene. The host for the evening was the TV regular and comedian Roy Walker who entertained the guests with his special brand of Irish humour. As always it was an evening of suspense for the awards finalists and their supporters as each of the 15 award category sponsors announced the winners. The applause was rapturous as the winners made their way to the stage to receive their trophies. The evening closed with good-humoured games of Heads and Tails which raised many thousands of pounds for the Care Professionals Benevolent Fund, a charity which helps professional carers who have fallen on hard times through no fault of their own.
The party continued with entertainment sponsored by Pinders including music from well-known band ‘Choice’ well into the small hours. The National Care Awards, now in its fourteenth year, is the longest established and biggest Care Awards by a significant margin. Its rigorous and personalised judging process, along with its glamour, make it the Awards people most want to win. Look out for the start of the next National Care Awards in June next year, which will culminate in another fantastic Gala Night next November.
