Baker moves to mattresses

After six years with Bakare Beds,a leading supplier of nursing beds, Gary Baker has launched his own seating and pressure mattress company ­ Cedeco. The new company offers a range of pressure relieving seats and mattresses. “Working with Bakare was a fantastic experience for which I will always thank my father and founder of Bakare Beds, John A Baker,” said Gary. “The main thing about Volker, is that it is a brilliant product supported by a fantastic team.” Mr Baker said Cedeco was literally sending ripples through the long term care sector. “The high prices traditionally associated with pressure prevention have bought about unnecessary suffering, as many care homes, burdened by low fees and high running costs, simply cannot afford the equipment necessary to diminish pain or prevent pressure ulcers,” said Gary. “Rental, often seen as a sensible alternative can cost up to £30 per week for a basic air mattress and inevitably leads to them being used on semi permanent basis.” Cedeco¹s solution comes in the sh
