Barchester Healthcare rebrands homes

Following Barchester Healthcare¹s £525m acquisition of Westminster Health Care in October 2004, the group is re-branding all its nursing and care homes under the Barchester Healthcare banner. The company, which now consists of 163 homes throughout the UK, caring for over 10,000 residents, commissioned Integrum to undertake market research and advice on the re-branding exercise. The group, which is now the third largest provider of residential and nursing home care in the UK, will continue the growth programme it has followed over the last few years. The company claims to have the largest development programme underway within the sector. An additional 250 beds are due to become online later this year.
