Barchester wins hospitality accreditation

Barchester Healthcare has been awarded the Hospitality Assured accreditation for the consistently high standard of hospitality and service it provides to more than 10,000 residents within its care homes across the UK. The company achieved the highest ever score given to a healthcare company, outperforming the average score given to companies across all industries. Hospitality Assured is the standard for service and business excellence in hospitality, heralded by the Hotel and Catering International Management Association (HCIMA) and supported by the British Hospitality Association (BHA). It is the only standard within the hospitality industry that focuses on the customer experience. Assessments were carried out at Barchester Healthcare’s head office in Chelsea and a sample of care homes across England, Scotland and Wales.
