Barclays funds Sunrise

Barclays healthcare team has provided a £22.9m debt facility to Sunrise Senior Living for the site purchase and construction of a 111-resident senior living community in Weybridge, Surrey. Sunrise operates a network of more than 400 senior living communities across the UK, US, Canada and Germany. In the UK they have 11 operational communities with eight under construction. George Fergusson, Barclays healthcare director, said this was the fourth deal the Barclays healthcare team has worked with and completed for Sunrise.
