Bindon buys third home in Devon

Bindon Care Ltd has bought a third care home with funding from their new bank, NatWest. The company’s latest acquisition, Barton Place nursing home in Exeter was financed by NatWest. Owners Chris and Signy de Verenne have more than 20 years’ experience in the care industry and approached NatWest after expressing an interest in expanding their portfolio of care homes in the south west. Craig Cabot, healthcare relationship manager and head of healthcare for the south west said his bank had worked with Chris and Signy to provide them with a hunting wallet, that put them in a stronger position to purchase a successful home in the south west with development potential. NatWest had also refinanced their existing banking facilitates allowing them to switch smoothly and fast. The couple made an offer on the 30-bed Barton Place which had an asking price of £2.4 million. The de Verennes own two care homes in Sidmouth – Bindon and Elmcroft. Both are successful care facilities, together with a domiciliary care age
