B&M Care builds in Sandridge

B&M Care will open a 39-bed care home in Sandridge, close to St Albans, this summer. Purpose built to cater for residents’ specific needs, Tara’s Retreat will be set in beautifully landscaped grounds, and be dedicated to providing residential care for elderly people and for those with dementia related illness. All rooms are ensuite and facilities include: resident call bell system for assistance at any time, assisted bathrooms for residents with physical disabilities, TV and telephone points in all bedrooms, disabled and wheelchair access throughout, including lift, refreshment making facilities for residents and their guests, in-house laundry, hairdressing salon, full activities calendar and daily programme, local GPs, district nurses, dentists, opticians and chiropodist visits, person centred holistic support, keyworker system. B&M Care operates about 20 care homes, located mainly in Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire.
