Burton to head managers’ body

The newly formed Association of Care Managers (ACM) has appointed John Burton, a regular Caring Times columnist, as its new head.

The association, which came into being in March 2009, has a membership now numbering hundreds. The association hopes that with Mr Burton at the helm, it will move forward, creating a much needed voice for managers across the whole adult care sector including care homes, homecare and learning disabilities.
