‘Can you call back when the manager is in?’
(Why this and other issues are unacceptable when ‘selling’ a care home in these competitive days)

Whatever your role and your dealings with a care home, I’m sure you will have experienced something similar to the above response at some point. But, will you call back? Maybe – but perhaps you will react by thinking, they cannot be that interested and, if the next home you call displays a more positive and helpful manner, then indeed, why bother to call the first home back?
