Capri is compact and easy to use

Healthcare equipment specialists Sidhil Ltd say that safer and more comfortable home bathing is now available for elderly people, following the launch of the new “Capri” electric bath lifter. Developed and manufactured by German company Ortopedia, the Capri is described as a robust battery-operated unit designed to fit securely into every style of bath, guaranteeing both safety and comfort in use. “The economically-priced bath lifter is also suitable for loan store use, featuring a moulded plastic construction which facilitates reissue to clients with minimum risk of cross-infection,” says Sidhil. “Easy to use, the Capri features a sturdy base plate which stands in the bottom of the bath, secured in place by special suction cups. The seat unit slots into the base smoothly and clicks into place. When not in use, the unit folds down to a compact size for storage or transportation.” The seat width on the Capri measures 40.7cm and special fold-away seat flaps extend the width to 70.5cm, where required.
