One-on-one meetings, adrenaline activities and plenty of networking at Care Agenda 2016

The 11th Caring Times Care Agenda took place on 10th May at the Heart of England Conference Centre in Coventry. The day started off with a welcome from Richard Hawkins, Editor and Chief of Caring Times followed by a welcome from Paul Miller, CEO of Redwoods Dowling Kerr who were the main sponsors of the event.

The morning consisted of 12 one on one meetings between industry suppliers and care providers overlooking the beautiful view of the landscape.

During the afternoon everyone took part in organised adrenaline fuelled activities including 4×4 driving, quad bikes, air riffles and laser clay shooting. All those who took part got stuck in and thoroughly enjoyed the day.

This year Care Agenda is supporting
The Care Workers Charity

The Care Workers’ Charity is here to safeguard the basic welfare of current, former and retired care workers experiencing financial hardship. For Britain’s care workers, early starts, long hours and mentally draining work are part and parcel of the job. As a result, it’s all too easy for illness, or other unforeseen circumstances, to push them beyond their financial limits.

It’s The Care Worker Charities dream that one day they will be able to help everyone who needs it, supporting The Care Workers Charity is a great opportunity to unite your staff behind a worthwhile cause that people can identify with and feel passionate about.

One of the many benefits of working alongside The Care Workers Charity is that they are a national charity whose work touches everyone in the care sector, including individual care workers, care providers, carers or service users and care sector suppliers.

Information regarding how to help and get involved will be available at the Care Agenda, alternatively you can contact the charity directly on 01702 343062 or by email at fundraising@thecareworkerscharity.org.uk
