Care Award finalists face the judges

More than 50 care awards finalists from around the UK converged on London in early October, when more than 30 judges struggled to decide who would emerge as the winner in each of the 12 categories. With property agents Christie & Co as the major sponsor, Care Awards 2002 is the fourth consecutive national awards event to be organised by Caring Times. From managers to care assistants, entrepreneurs to chefs, chief executives to nurses, the annual Care Awards provides the opportunity for the sector to show its appreciation for the tireless work that goes on in every field at every level. Finalists in all categories will only discover the judges¹ decisions at the gala presentation night on Saturday, November 9, at the Hilton London Metropole Hotel. More than 500 guests celebrated the awards at last year¹s event, and with a record number of entries for the 12 award categories, this year is set to see an even bigger and brighter occasion. l Some places may still be available at the Care Awards 2002 gala presenta
