2010 National Care Awards |
The National Care Awards has been the long-term care sector's premier awards event since 1999, promoting excellence and appealing to a wide range of individuals and organisations.
For individuals there is a very real chance of selection as a finalist or winner, bringing the satisfaction of being recognised for the excellent work you do, as well as greatly increasing your career opportunities.
For organisations there is every reason to encourage as many of your staff as possible to enter the National Care Awards. It will show you are committed to excellence among your staff and that you are prepared to do something about it. Involvement in activities like the Awards is great for morale boosting.
Of course if any of your staff is chosen as a finalist or winner there are very significant commercial benefits which you will be able to exploit to the full.
Having finalists or winners in the National Care Awards is perceived by commissioners, staff, family and residents as proof that you are a dynamic and successful company. It will also help the perception of your facility by the local community.
Last year hundreds of people came together in London to celebrate excellence throughout the long term care sector at the National Care Awards Gala Night. From managers to care assistants, entrepreneurs to chefs, chief executives to nurses, the National Care Awards provide the opportunity for the whole industry to show its appreciation for the tireless work that goes on in every field, at every level.
On 27th November 2010, over 700 guests from all levels of the long term care sector gathered for an exciting Gala Dinner to celebrate the 2010 National Care Awards.
Hosted by comedian and presenter Brian Conley, the evening kicked off with a champagne reception and was followed with a sumptuous three-course meal, with Brian entertaining in his unique style throughout.
Then the much anticipated awards were presented, and winners announced.
The night finished with catching up with old friends and colleagues, with any leftover energy by with dancing to the fabulous Co-Stars live band!
Thank you to everyone for attending and making it a brilliant night & for helping raise thousands of pounds for the night's charity the Care Professional Benevolent Fund.
