Care induction training: package for new staff and employers from TOPSS England

Your Induction to Work in Social Care, published by the Training organisation for the Personal Social Services (TOPSS England) is a new employee¹s version of the induction standards which are required in the Department of Health¹s “service standards”. It will be distributed through employers, who will receive a free CD-ROM of care sector national occupational standards plus the Care Training Code as part of the package. More than 18,000 copies of Your Induction to Work in Social Care are expected to enter circulation as part of TOPSS England¹s distribution of Department of Health resources to support induction training in the independent sector. The nine TOPSS England regional training forums have gathered together varieties of partnerships of care employers and training interests to distribute those resources, including free copies of the Your Induction to Work in Social Care package.
