Care Tech acquires Counticare portfolio

Specialist provider Care Tech Holdings plc has acquired the Counticare Group of companies, comprising 12 homes specialising in the care of learning disability residents with a total registration of 101. Property agents Highland & Co handled the sale. The Counticare properties are considered to have been fitted, equipped and maintained to a very impressive standard over the years and attracted a good deal of interest from a number of prospective purchasers. The sale also includes a large, well-appointed day care centre. Ian Highland said his agency had worked with Counticare for many years, providing valuations and other professional services on their behalf. “From our view point, as valuers and agents who have inspected a number of similar homes over the years, we have been proud to be associated with a company which provides such high standards on behalf of their residents,” said Mr Highland. “Having dealt with Farouq and Haroon Sheikh of Care Tech throughout the course of this transaction we are sure
