Care worker is cleared of racist assault on resident

A Polish care worker has been cleared of a racist assault on a care home resident of German nationality.

Roman Ciesielski, 25, of Emmanuel Christian care home in Birkenhead, was cleared by a jury at Liverpool Crown Court. However the jury failed to reach a verdict on a second charge of assault on another patient.
