CareConcepts, a specialist care provider, has started construction work on a £1.2m expansion to a Manchester nursing home, after securing funding from The Royal Bank of Scotland’s (RBS) healthcare team.

The expansion will create a new 20-place day care centre, 12 respite places and an assessment centre at Marion Lauder House, CareConcepts’ existing nursing home. The home currently provides care facilities for 46 people with dementia.
