Castlebeck among the top 50 profit performers

Independent healthcare provider Castlebeck is among the top 50 in the latest Sunday Times PriceWater-houseCoopers Profit Track 100. The specialist care provider, which cares for people with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour , is one of Britain’s top 100 private equity-backed companies with the fastest growing business. The company’s position at number 38 in the league table is confirmation of its strength and maturity. Castlebeck’s head office is based in Darlington and it has facilities in many parts of the UK including the Midlands, Scotland and South West as well as the North East. Because the specialist care the company provides for people with learning disabilities is in high demand, the company is continuing to expand throughout the South West, Midlands and Scotland. Also expanding is Young Foundations, the Castlebeck division that cares for young people with learning disabilities. Last summer HG Capital sold Castlebeck for £255m to Lydian Capital Ventures, a Swiss company backed by
