CBE for Westminster boss

Dr Chai Patel, who took over Westminster Health Care plc on April 21, was awarded a CBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours for his services to the development of social care policies. Dr Patel is now chief executive of Westminster Health Care, with Tony Heywood as chief operating officer. He was the founder and former chairman of Court Cavendish Group plc and former chief executive of CareFirst Group plc. Dr Patel is also chairman of the Better Regulation Task Force sub-committee on long term care.
