Claimar consolidates with three more purchases

Major homecare provider Claimar Care Group plc has reported three more acquisitions of other homecare operations. Claimar has purchased BR Care Group Ltd for £1m in cash plus up to £400,000 payable upon certain performance conditions being achieved. BR Care is a homecare provider based in the North of England delivering more 3,500 hours per week from four branches in Bradford, Sutton-in Craven, Rochdale and Chester dealing primarily with Bradford City Council, Calderdale Council and Rochdale and employing more than 150 care workers. Claimar chief executive Mark Hales said the BR Care Group was the fourth and largest acquisition to be completed by Claimar since its admission to AIM in January 2006. “The acquisition of such a strong regional operation will further consolidate Claimar’s position in the North of England,” said Mr Hales. “We believe this acquisition will help create additional opportunities for expansion into key new local authorities.” Claimar has also acquired Surecare Community Serv
