Claimar share placement will help fund acquisition of Complete Care

Claimar Care Group plc, a major homecare provider in the Midlands and the North West, has announced a bid to acquire Complete Care Holdings Ltd, a significant provider of bespoke care packages to adults and children with severe disabilities based in Telford, Shropshire. Claimar Care will pay £33.1m in a mixture of cash and shares for Complete Care.

To help finance the acquisition, Claimar has also announced a new share placing to raise £23m (net of expenses) at 137 pence per Ordinary Share, pending existing shareholder approval.
