Clinovia appoints medical director

Homecare services provider Clinovia has strengthened its senior management team with the appointment of Dr Tony Felton as medical director. Dr Felton, a practicing GP, joins Clinovia from the NHS National Programme for Information Technology, where he was a senior healthcare consultant. He will be based at the company¹s headquarters in Harlow, Essex. Clinovia provides specialised homecare and healthcare services in community settings. The key activities are home delivery of drugs, care packages, provision of medical equipment, and other homecare services. Clinovia compounds drugs under license and dispenses these products to patients. The services provided by Clinovia include the delivery of drugs or feeds, the provision of equipment to administer them and a range of supporting services such as training of patients, nursing support, mixing of solutions and the provision of a 24-hour patient helpline.
