CMG acquires Sussex group

Care Management Group, a major provider of care for children and adults with learning disabilities and associated needs, has acquired Sussex-based Wherewelive Care Group Ltd. Wherewelive operates four homes for up to 20 adults with learning disabilities in the Worthing area and has a strong reputation in the area. Andrew Brookes, partner in Hazlewoods LLP corporate finance team, provided acquisition advisory and due diligence support for the transaction. “The growth of this business and development of facilities made this an interesting acquisition, both commercially and in relation to establishing the levels of financial performance,” said Mr Brookes. Hazlewoods also advised Holmleigh Care Homes Ltd on the acquisition of “Partnerships”, a group of five residential care homes in the Gloucester area. The homes provide care for adults with learning disability and associated mental health problems, with varying degrees of challenging behaviour together with outreach care services. “Holmleigh is a major
