Collingtree Park opens £1m extension

Major provider Barchester Healthcare has opened an extension at Collingtree Park care home in Northampton. In addition to its own beautiful grounds and gardens, residents at Collingtree Park can enjoy excellent views of the adjacent golf course. The two-storey development – an investment of more than £1m – has created 21 additional single bedrooms. All of the new bedrooms have ensuite facilities with level access showers for disabled use and there are bright, spacious living and dining facilities. A refurbishment programme is also taking place throughout the original part of the home, with an increased focus on standards in hospitality for all residents. General manager, Kieron Mylne said Collingtree Park would set the standard in quality, care, service provided and a beautiful environment for others to aspire to. “We are thrilled with the new extension and our residents are already telling us how much they love it,” said Mr Mylne. “It has been well designed but is as homely as the original part of the house
