Laing & Buisson¹s sixth annual homecare conference will examine how homecare providers and purchasers will be affected by the National Minimum Standards for homecare and their application by the National Care Standards Commission. Speakers will highlight the many influences on current and future provision including changes to the Employment Agencies Regulations, pressure for greater use of direct payments, consolidation among smaller providers and national charging policies. Also to be discussed will be the greater role of Primary Care Trusts as possible future purchasers of homecare, new forms of domiciliary health care and the development of integrated housing-with-care as an alternative to care home admission. – Laing & Buisson¹s sixth annual homecare conference will be held on Wednesday, November 27 at the Lord¹s Conference & Banqueting Centre, London.
