Conferences will debate Care Standards Act

A series of three regional conferences addressing issues raised by the Care Standards Act have been organised by Dr Richard Fairburn of Care Professional Consultancy Ltd. Speakers will include specialist care sector solicitor Paul Ridout, the National Care Standards Commission programme manager Chris Hume and TOPSS England chief executive Andrea Rowe. Each of the conferences will include a debate on whether: “the interests of vulnerable people will be best served by a flexible approach to the Care Standards Act”. The conferences will be held at: Sheffield on March 7, Eastleigh, Hampshire on March 20 and Milton Keynes on April 3.
