Craegmoor on the market

Craegmoor Healthcare may be the latest major corporate provider to be sold to one of its competitors.

Owned by the private equity division of Legal & General, Craegmoor operates more than 300 care facilities with about 6,000 beds and carries a price tag of about £300m.

Southern Cross Healthcare and Barchester Healthcare are both reported to be negotiating with this latest consolid
