CSCI sets up a ‘mailbox’ for providers’ comments

Posted on July 1st, by editor in Caring Times. No Comments

In a bid to improve consistency of inspection and judgements throughout the organisation, the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI) has launched a temporary electronic mailbox, allowing providers of social care services to comment on issues they have experienced. The email address – consistencymb@csci.gsi.gov.uk – will be open until November 2006. Social care providers can submit their concerns on issues around the consistency of advice, scoring and judgements. The Commission says the comments gathered will be used to develop the thinking on improving both the consistency of provision of services, and the consistency of judgements.
