Developer scales-down project in wake of protests

A developer has been required to scale down the size of a proposed new care home development in Derby following protests from local residents.

The Sandstone group had initially proposed a 100-place care home in Kingscroft, Allestree. However, residents complained over a lack of infrastructure and a lack of parking.
