Dorgard¹s rainbow colours

Dorgard, the electronic fire-door stay, has recently been re-launched in a range of new colours. Its makers, Fireco, say that following this, demand for the product has soared. Launched seven years ago, and initially only available in red, Fireco Ltd now manufactures Dorgard in the following 10 colours: ivory, white, yellow, red, burgundy, blue, green, mahogany, charcoal and black. Sales figures show that, surprisingly, mahogany and white are the most popular colours. “Listening to our customer’s needs is important, and we are now selling more units than ever before,” said managing director Chris Badenhorst. “Having a range of colours means that customers get exactly what they want. “Dorgard is simply affixed to the bottom of a fire door in just five minutes. By depressing the rubber stopper, the door is held open in any position.
