The Leeds Office of specialist business agents, Christie + Co, has completed the recent sale of three care homes in Yorkshire. West House, Sunnyside and Oxford Grange, all in Dewsbury, have been sold to Dryband One Ltd, an established operator based in North Lincolnshire. Acting on behalf of Steve Haughton, who had built up the group over a number of years, the sale was conducted on a strictly confidential basis without any formal marketing of the homes. The homes comprise a total of 105 beds. Jonathan Wickens, from Christie + Co’s Leeds Office, who handled the sale, said the deal further emphasised the strength of the market across the Yorkshire region. “Many established operators keen to expand their portfolio, along with first time buyers who have equity available and are still looking to enter the market,” said Mr Wickens.
