Emap Healthcare buys CareExpo

CareExpo is to become part of Naidex following the acquisition by Emap Healthcare of the national exhibition for the intermediate and long-term care sectors. The deal has been agreed by Emap Healthcare with Laing & Buisson and Hawker Publications, the joint-organisers of CareExpo. Emap Healthcare¹s head of rehab. events Emma Yandell said the addition of CareExpo to the Naidex portfolio was a very progressive move for the industry in general. “Naidex, which is already firmly established as the national homecare show, has gone from strength to strength in the past few years and is attracting more exhibitors and visitors than ever before,” said Ms Yandell. “The message we are sending out with this acquisition is that we want Naidex to continue growing and provide comprehensive coverage of all areas of the industry. “As the ideal marketplace for providers of goods and services to meet with the decision-makers in nursing, residential and homecare organisations, CareExpo will sit comfortably within Naidex when the
