Executive Care plans 400-bed expansion

The Executive Care Group has launched five new care home developments across the UK. The latest proposed developments in Redcar, Dundee, Poole, Newmarket and Nunthorpe all received planning consent in 2008 and are due to start on site early this year, adding a further 400 beds to the group’s expanding portfolio.

At a time when their larger national rivals are keeping a low profile and trying to satisfy the competing demands of shareholders and funding banks, the Executive Care Group has been quietly building up its reserves and strengthening its asset base
