Faulty fire doors may have had role in fatal blaze

Evidence has been given at the Fatal Accident Enquiry in Scotland into the Rosepark care home fire of January 2004 that some bedrooms  were not fitted with proper door closure systems.

Fourteen people died when fire swept through the home at Uddingston in Lanarkshire.

The enquiry was shown pictures of 13 doors taken just after the fire by a photographer working for Strat
