Fifteen more beds for Fazakerley

Work has begun at Meridian Healthcare’s Fazakerley House in Prescot to extend the care centre by 15 ensuite bedrooms. The £1m project is to be carried out by Craig Associates and will build on the refurbishment work carried out at Fazakerley House last year which saw all bedrooms and communal areas upgraded with tasteful décor, new furniture and fittings. Fazakerley House currently offers residential care for 30 residents. Following the extension this will increase to 45. All rooms are large, single and fully furnished with television and telephone points as standard. Many also feature ensuite facilities. Fazakerley House has a number of lounges, dining, quiet areas and beautiful secure gardens for residents to relax and entertain visitors. The work is part of ongoing upgrade of the care centres owned by Meridian Healthcare which has just officially re-opened nearby Kirkby House.
