Four Seasons Health Care has joined with the charity Action on Elder Abuse (AEA), to launch a free advice leaflet on guarding against the abuse of elderly people. The leaflet is available free from all of Four Seasons’ 350 care homes across the UK or can be downloaded from the website at www.fshc.co.uk It gives some helpful advice on issues which need to be watched for and could imply abuse of an older person and where to seek help. AEA chief executive Gary FitzGerald said the charity had been pleased to have worked with Four Seasons on producing the leaflet. “This is a great initiative by Four Seasons and they are to be congratulated for it,” said Mr FitzGerald. “Not only will this leaflet be accessible to each and every resident in all the Four Seasons care homes but it sends out a clear and reassuring message to families and friends who are looking for places for their loved ones.”
