Further recognition for top performance by Barchester

Major provider Barchester Healthcare has been ranked as one of the top 100 Most Profitable Private Companies in the UK in the Profit Track 100 League, published by the _Sunday Times_ on April 2. The listing, which measures medium-sized private companies by profit growth over the last three years, identifies Barchester as one of the fastest growing private companies in the UK and follows Barchester’s recent rankings in the Fast Track 100 (4 December 2005) and as one of the top 100 Best Companies to Work For (2 March 2006) in which Barchester was number two in the top 20 Best Big Companies list. Since the company began in 1993, managing director Mike Parsons has worked to make Barchester the number one provider of high quality residential and nursing home care in the UK, offering exceptionally high standards of care, hotel-like facilities and gourmet food.
